CM50 makes robotic case forming accessible for smaller carton sizes that are often handled manually or with semi-automatic equipment. By covering reduced carton dimensions within a single integrated unit, CM50 enables manufacturers to automate product ranges that previously required alternative solutions.
This allows packaging operations to maintain consistency across SKUs, improve throughput, and reduce dependency on manual carton erection, even for compact case formats.
casemagiQ CM50 integrates with Universal Robots via URCap and with FANUC robots through dedicated plug-in, enabling direct control and streamlined setup.
For other robot brands and automation systems, CM50 communicates using the industry standard Modbus RTU (RS-485). We chose one of the most fundamental communication protocols. This is an intentional product design decision that enables casemagiQ to be used with industrial robots, cobots, gantries, or custom-designed machines.
Standard converters from RS-485 to other communication protocols such as TCP/IP, IO-Link, and others can be used to control CM50.
