Add reach where the layout needs it
Offsets reposition the Pod away from the main Dock axis, giving the gripper additional reach where the product, box, or machine space requires it. They are used to extend the layout vertically or horizontally while keeping the Click connection and vacuum path integrated through the system.

Offsets are used when the suction cups cannot sit directly under the Dock. They move the Pod away from the main Dock axis while keeping the mechanical Click connection and vacuum path part of the same layout.
This is useful when the gripper needs to reach into a case opening, pick around an edge, avoid an obstruction, or place the cup pattern closer to the product surface. Instead of changing the full gripper design, an Offset changes where the Pod sits in relation to the Dock.
Start with the frame size of the surrounding Click components. Frame 65 belongs to the 5 kg class, while Frame 80 belongs to the 10 kg class. Then choose the direction of reach: Z-axis Offsets add vertical distance, while X-axis Offsets move the Pod outward from the main axis.
The final choice is length. Shorter Offsets keep the layout more compact, while longer Offsets give more reach when the product position, case depth, or machine space requires it. Standard Offset lengths range from 50 mm to 150 mm, depending on axis and frame.
